Duplex 2205 coiled tubing is widely used in offshore chemical injection systems where high strength and excellent corrosion resistance are essential. In chloride-rich environments such as seawater, standard stainless steels may fail over time, making Duplex 2205 a more reliable choice.
With its dual-phase microstructure, Duplex 2205 combines the benefits of both austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. It offers approximately twice the yield strength of 316L, allowing for thinner wall designs while maintaining mechanical integrity. At the same time, it provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
This makes it particularly suitable for offshore oil & gas operations, subsea systems, and long-distance chemical injection lines where maintenance access is limited and reliability is critical.
Our coiled tubing is manufactured using advanced laser welding, solution annealing, and precision forming processes. Strict quality control ensures consistent dimensions, smooth internal surfaces, and stable mechanical properties throughout the entire coil.
A key advantage we offer is continuous coiled tubing up to 10000 meters without intermediate welded joints. This significantly reduces the number of connection points, lowers the risk of leakage, and improves installation efficiency—especially in offshore environments.
