A516 Gr.60 Plate

SA516Gr60 is a carbon steel plate for medium and low temperature pressure vessels. It implements ASME standards. It was developed and produced by Wugang in 2006. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, power station, boiler and other industries to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, and balls. Equipment and components such as tanks, gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, boiler drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes of hydropower stations, and turbine volutes.
SA516Gr70(60) is one of the six new products developed by Wugang in 2006. The steel plate meets the technical requirements of NACE-MR0175 anti-sulfide stress cracking metal material for oilfield equipment and has passed the HIC+SSC test. The steel plate is the first domestic and international leader. SA516G.70N meets the requirements of (ASME) ASTMA516/A516M standards, and fully meets the needs of oil gas with high content of sulfur and hydrogen, reduces sulfur and hydrogen corrosion, reduces equipment maintenance, and increases equipment service life. The steel plate has the following characteristics: good impact resistance, low temperature deformation, good welding performance, good fatigue resistance, good anti-layer cracking performance, microalloying, high purity, low carbon equivalent, strong sulfur and hydrogen resistance, The product has good dimensional tolerance and surface quality, and can be used for steel plates with a thickness of less than 200mm. Generally speaking, SAGr70 is required to be used in China, and SA516Gr60 is rarely used because of its relatively ordinary performance. Domestic SA516Gr70 has been widely used in major chemical sites.
